Location: CUNY Graduate Center, Room 9100 (Skylight Room)
This forum, scheduled to coincide with the UN High-Level Meeting on Noncommunicable Diseases (Sept. 21–27) and New York City Climate Week (Sept 21 -28) will bring together experts to examine how corporate structures, systems, and practices contribute to both climate change and the global rise in noncommunicable diseases. Panelists, both in person and via Zoom, will explore opportunities for collective action at local, national, and global levels and share insights to inform strategies that reduce health, environmental, and social harms. The session will take place on Friday, September 26, from 10:00–11:30 AM at the CUNY Graduate Center (with an option for online attendance for those unable to join in person). The format will be a moderated discussion with panelists, followed by group discussion and Q and A. Limited seating for those who register in advance; all others can participate via Zoom.
